Designed as a line of baguette diamonds, centring on a square-shaped watchface, circa 1930. Case: signed and numbered 06209, Dial: brushed metalic with blued steel hands and baton indicators, Movement: Jaeger Le Coultre Co. fifteen jewel Swiss lever, caliber 101 Duoplan.

Note: Described in Cartier’s archives as “the tiniest” (la plus petite), this watch contains a movement composed of 98 pieces weighing less than a gram. The 101 is still the smallest mechanical movement in the world (14 x 4.8 x 3.4mm) and is of the Duoplan type, which means that its regulating system is placed on a plane above the gears making it possible to reduce overall width.
