Designed as a stylised cockerel, the body set with old brilliant-cut diamonds, embellished with carved rubies to the wing, crown and eye, mimicked with a red enamel wattle, to a tail of geometric form, the plumage composed of buff-top sapphires and emeralds, the base of trapeze-shaped diamonds, onyx accents to the beak and foot, circa 1925 - 1930, unmarked. Dimensions: length; 3.1 cm, width; 2cm. Weight: 5.7 grams
