Of geometric design, the stepped platinum band tapering around the finger, embellished to the front with a graduated channel-set line of baguette-cut rubies, flanked to either side with a line of circular-cut diamonds, circa 1935. Size G. Weight 12 grams
Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity by Francoise Cailles.

Note: A design by Juliette Moutard called “trois plans étagés” as the name suggests - it is composed of three staggered layers: channel-set rubies, two lines of circular-cut diamonds and finally the platinum band. Little finger rings have seen a renaissance in recent years but it was the modern woman of the 1920s that introduced the otherwise traditionally male custom of wearing a ring on the pinkie. Here, stylistic evolution has left the signet ring well behind but, the heavy platinum band and modern lines hint at its traditional inspiration.
